Two named lists, no totals, and a cap of ten per job
HeyGen publishes two alphabetical lists in its help centre, one for voice languages and one for the languages a finished video can be turned into. Neither carries a total, the marketing page says more than 175, and a single video can be translated into ten at once. As of 2026-09-22.
| Published | Where | Carries a total |
|---|---|---|
| Voice languages, alphabetical from Afrikaans to Zulu | Help centre article | No |
| Languages a finished video can be turned into | A second help centre article | No |
| More than 175 languages with lip sync and subtitles | Video translator page | Yes, as a plus figure |
| Up to ten languages per video at once | The same translator page | Yes, a limit rather than an inventory |
Inclusion rule. Every spoken-language statement on this vendor's pages, with the page it sits on and whether a number is attached. Order. Named lists first, then the counted claims.
1Two lists that answer two questions
One list is the languages a voice exists for. The other is the languages a finished video can be turned into. Those are not the same question, and keeping them in separate articles is more careful than most disclosure in this register.
A reader who needs Zulu in a voice and a reader who needs a Zulu version of an existing episode can each check their own list. Neither could do that from the marketing figure, which merges both and adds dialects.
2A cap is the rarest kind of language fact here
Ten languages per video at once is the only per-job language limit published by any vendor in this register. It is also the figure with the most direct effect on a production plan, because it sets how many passes a series needs.
For a sixty-episode series released in fifteen languages, the cap is the difference between one operation and two per episode. Nothing about inventory size tells a producer that, which is why the limit is recorded beside the lists rather than inside them.
3Lists with no totals, beside a headline with one
Neither article states how many entries it holds, so any figure for this vendor has to be produced by counting. The marketing page states 175+ for languages and dialects together, which is a different unit from either list.
The register records the lists as named and the 175 as a count, and does not reconcile them. Reconciling would mean deciding how the vendor splits languages from dialects, and the vendor has not said.
