Two long lists, one counted by the vendor and one not

Neither vendor declares a language alternate on its own host, and both publish long spoken-language lists. One prints its own totals in the section headings; the other publishes two alphabetical articles with no count on either. As of 2026-09-22.

Inclusion rule. The two vendors here with an empty site cell and a long named list. Rows compare how each list is presented. Order. Site column first, then the lists, then the figures around them.

1The rarest thing in this register is a vendor counting its own list

Printing 91 and 117 in the section headings means a reader needs no arithmetic and can still verify the figure by counting. That combination, a stated total over a visible list, appears once here.

The other vendor publishes lists a reader can search but not quote. Both are far better than a bare count, and the difference between them is a few minutes of work rather than a difference in what the products do.

2The marketing figures point in opposite directions

One vendor advertises 80+ languages above a list of 91, understating itself by eleven. The other advertises more than 175 above two lists that carry no total at all, which cannot be reconciled without knowing how it splits languages from dialects.

Understating is the safer error and the rarer one. The register quotes the list in both cases, because a list can be recounted and a headline cannot, and it records the marketing figure beside it so the gap stays visible.

3Two empty site cells, for the same commercial reason

Both vendors sell language conversion rather than a localised interface, and both have left their own pages in one language while documenting long output inventories in that same language.

It is the pattern that makes the site column and the voice column non-interchangeable. Ranked on declarations these two are joint last; ranked on named spoken languages they are at the top, and a single score would have to choose which of those to believe.

Inclusion rule. Tools with a public English site selling AI video generation or AI video dubbing. Site languages count hreflang alternates served from the host being read; x-default and alternates pointing at another host are not counted, for every vendor alike. Order. Alphabetical by tool name.
